After
after the storm
after the cold and chill
after the sky cracked open
and fell, crashing
with the weight of it all
after the darkness seemed certain
the sun broke through
tore wet curtains of gray asunder
and pierced every dark place
with saving light
after the cold and chill
after the sky cracked open
and fell, crashing
with the weight of it all
after the darkness seemed certain
the sun broke through
tore wet curtains of gray asunder
and pierced every dark place
with saving light
During the season of remembering, I see echoes of His story everywhere.
For TUC’s beautiful daughter, who is a spark of light
Beautiful. All of it.
Now just where is the RAP invitation this week? Confused and searching (what is new?!)
Blessings.
Love your poem even if I am bummed that I slept in and MISSED all the snow it was melted by the time I woke up. 🙁
This is so neat. Thank you.
Thanks guys! I’m not sure what the poetry prompt is for this week, but they’re doing a RAP session this week.
Dawn, I woke up to a dusting of snow, which turned to rain, then I got excited when the sun came out and lit up all the melting water on the trees…then it snowed big fluffy flakes for another hour or so. Spring is so unpredictable!
Great job…. keep it continue working hard…
Thanks for the post..
this lit up my eyes

Ok, I love it so much I would like to know if I can post it in my sidebar, with, of course, credit and a link back to you…?
And with that you understand why I deleted the previous comment:-)
TUC, it would be such an honor if you put it in your sidebar! I’m so touched (by both of your comments!) and so glad…and I did a little edit because some things just fit too well to be chance.
