Poetry Friday (R.A.P.): Bend

Bend

I would like
for this moment
to shed
the bonds of body
the restraints of mind
and reach upward
through pure blue
sweep aside clouds
stretch and bend
through time and space
touch for a moment
with Light itself
rest there
before returning
settling back
into to shape
of now

It must be glorious to be so in tune with the rhythms of nature. Great words, go nicely with the pic.

I was going to say lovely but someone else beat me to it so I’ll say instead, quite honestly, this spoke to my heart.

“settling back into shape of now” makes me feel real good – like after a good long stretch
